✨ Improved
- New checkout powered by Polar. "Get Lifetime Access" now opens a secure Polar checkout directly. Polar is our merchant of record and handles payment, receipts and sales tax/VAT.
- Access still unlocks automatically within a minute after payment. Earlier versions of the extension use the new checkout too.
➕ Added
- OpenRouter support for the AI assistant. Settings now has an AI Provider switch. Keep using your OpenAI key, or enter an OpenRouter API key and any OpenRouter model ID (for example
anthropic/claude-sonnet-4.5 or google/gemini-2.5-flash). Leave the model empty to let OpenRouter pick one.
- Existing OpenAI setups keep working unchanged — OpenAI remains the default provider.
✨ Improved
- AI error messages now name the provider and show the provider's message when a request fails.
- Still Bring Your Own Key: requests go straight from your browser to the provider you chose. We never see or store your key.
🔧 Fixed
- Critical: Purchases were not unlocking the extension. Payment confirmations from our payment provider were being rejected; paying customers are now activated automatically within a minute.
- Critical: Deleted notes and folders came back after the next sync. Deletions now reach Google Drive (items go to your Drive trash, so they stay recoverable) and are never re-downloaded.
- Notes not appearing after clearing local data and signing in again. The extension now scans your Drive folder directly when its index is empty or corrupted.
- Blank panel after upgrading: the notes list is restored as soon as the purchase is confirmed, without reopening the panel.
- Post-payment page could not be opened; buyers now land on a confirmation page with next steps.
- Sync indicator stuck on "Syncing..." after a manual sync.
- Duplicate header shown above the editor while a note was open.

- Fast activation: after opening checkout the extension checks your purchase every 15 seconds.
- Automatic Drive folder scan and recursive note discovery when the sync index is missing.
